To order

Can I pick up my order?

Yes, you can! Orders can be picked up from the nursery. This works as follows:

  1. During checkout, select the pick-up option.
  2. Select the date on which you want to collect the order.
  3. After placing your order you will receive a confirmation email stating exactly where you can collect your order.

Our pick-up location is a self-service point that is open from Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 19:00. You can pick up your order on the agreed day at a time that suits you!

When is the best time to order to have my flowers delivered on time?

On Monday to Thursday, ordered before 11:00 am = shipped the same day.
After Thursday 11am, Saturday and Sunday = shipped on Monday.

You will usually receive the package the next working day. Sometimes the post is delayed by one day, for this reason we recommend allowing an extra day for delivery.

We are not liable for any defects at PostNL and DHL.

I want to order a specific color or edible flower. Is this possible?

For fresh flowers, we offer the possibility to compose a mix yourself via our Mix & Match option. This way you choose the colours and flowers that suit you best. For our other flowers, customisation is unfortunately not possible.

I don't need my edible flowers for another week. Can I place my order now?

Yes, you can place an order in advance. Select your desired shipping date in the shopping cart. The order will be shipped on this day.

Shipping takes 1-2 business days, please take this into account when selecting your shipping date.

Can I also order as a wholesaler?

Yes, we also supply wholesalers and the hospitality industry. These can be ordered via the heading Bulk packaging .

Can I cancel or change my order?

You can change or cancel your order on working days until 11:00 by contacting us via Whatsapp or email .

What is the return policy?

Due to the shelf life, fresh edible flowers cannot be returned.

Dried and pressed edible flowers can be returned:

You can request a return for delivered products within 14 days. Please contact us by email to arrange the return. Return shipping costs are for your own account. After receiving and checking the returned product, we will refund the amount to you.

Delivery

Can I track the status of my order?

Yes, definitely. As soon as your package is registered with PostNL/DHL you will receive a track and trace code. Usually you will receive your package within 1-2 days.

What is the delivery time?

Ordered before 11am Monday to Thursday = shipped the same day.
Ordered after Thursday 11:00 = shipped on Monday.

Netherlands: delivery time 1-2 days
Belgium: delivery time 1-2 working days
Germany: delivery time 2-3 working days

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs within the Netherlands are €6.95. For orders over €75,- shipping costs within the Netherlands are free.

Shipping costs to Belgium and Germany are €9.95.

I have received my order but something is missing. What now?

Oops, that's not the intention. Contact us via email or Whatsapp and we will solve it for you as soon as possible.

Edible Flowers

What is the best way to store the flowers?

Fresh: Place your bowl of flowers in the refrigerator immediately upon receipt.

Dried, pressed: To preserve the quality of the edible flowers, we recommend storing them in a dark, dry place, preferably in their original packaging.

How long can I keep the edible flowers?


Are all flowers edible?

Only specially grown flowers are edible. At Floral Delight we offer carefully selected edible flowers that are safe to eat and suitable for culinary applications.

Not all flowers are edible. Avoid consuming flowers from bouquets or the wild, as some can be toxic or cause allergic reactions. It is crucial to choose flowers that are consciously grown and labeled as edible, such as our selection available at Floral Delight.

Are edible flowers healthy?

Yes, edible flowers can be a beautiful addition to dishes and can provide various health benefits. In general, edible flowers contain nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

Additionally, certain edible flowers may offer specific health benefits. For example, some flowers, such as marigold and violets, are traditionally used for their anti-inflammatory properties. Other flowers, such as lavender and chamomile, are known for their calming effects and are sometimes used in teas or aromatherapy.

However, it is important to note that edible flowers are usually consumed in small quantities, mainly as decoration or flavor enhancer, and therefore they do not typically contribute significantly to daily nutritional needs.

Are the Edible Flowers grown sustainably?

Sure! At Floral Delight we attach great importance to sustainability. Our flowers are grown with great care and attention to the environment. We use sustainable cultivation methods that avoid harmful chemicals. To combat pests, we use biological enemies, so we use natural solutions.

To save the environment, we pack our fresh flowers in recycled plastic containers. Various experiments have shown that this packaging ensures that the flowers have the longest shelf life. Our process is designed in such a way that there is no waste. We use all flowers by pressing and drying them.

Where do your edible flowers come from?

Our edible flowers are grown in our own nursery in Westland. The fresh edible flowers are shipped on the day of harvest. We press and dry the flowers immediately after harvest, so that we can guarantee the highest quality.

Can you eat edible flowers if you have an allergy?

If you are hypersensitive to flowers, we do not recommend eating edible flowers.

Are edible flowers suitable for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes, edible flowers are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. They contain no animal ingredients and can be a wonderful and tasty addition to vegetarian and vegan dishes.
